Compliance with Labour Laws
The Ministry of Labour and Small Enterprise Development is the Ministry through which the Government of Trinidad and Tobago implements its strategies for the Labour Sector. Through the Labour Inspectorate Unit of the Ministry, Labour practices are monitored to ensure adherence to the labour legislation.

Some pillars for compliance with Labour Laws are:

 Orange Bullet Icon Safety and health practices of the employer
 Orange Bullet Icon Be knowledgeable of the relevant legislation as it pertains to the industry one is engaged
 Orange Bullet Icon Be knowledgeable of the Minimum wage laws, specifically the terms and conditions of employment as stated in the Minimum Wage Orders
